Evening Meals at Canaston Oaks


We are pleased to be able to offer evening meals, which are served between 6pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday only. You will need to book in advance, preferably when you book your room, or at least by 10.00am on the day.


2 courses £21 per person, 3 courses £26 per person; children up to 12 half adult price.


Our food is home-cooked, using locally-sourced ingredients wherever possible: the Welsh beef and lamb is locally sourced and traceable from farm to table.

Canaston Oaks Charcuterie: fine food, prepared for you and served in your room

At Canaston Oaks we offer evening meals as shown above, but you can choose our Charcuterie tray which has great food for two and costs just £43.50 including a bottle of wine. Just ask if you’d like Charcuterie for one.

In common with breakfast and afternoon tea we source Welsh produce whenever we can, so you can expect some Welsh cheese in your basket and Welsh ham when possible.

We recognise there are very fine cheeses from other parts of Europe, so you might be enjoying Comté from the Jura region of France, perhaps Shropshire Blue: we choose what is available and fresh.

Depending on local availability, Parma, Prosciutto, Serrano and/or Welsh hams, with the very best pâté are accompanied by tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, grapes, gherkins and chutneys. Please note that your tray may vary: we choose for freshness and quality so that you have the best in peak condition.

Did we mention the bread? Fresh, crusty, bread of course, and the best potato crisps. And fresh fruit to refresh your palate.

We source quality wines to accompany your food: choose red or white, and enjoy the bottle in your room or in our lounge – no worries about driving.

It’s easy to order a Charcuterie Tray: we need a little notice, but if you are already with us, just tell us at breakfast and we will have it ready for that evening. If you are booking a Tray ahead of arriving and want it on your first evening, an email or telephone call before 10:00am would be fine; letting us know when you book your room would be a bonus!
