Angling in Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire offers superb angling facilities, whichever type of fishing you prefer, Game, Coarse or Sea – or why not try all three!

We have briefly outlined below what is available.

Game Fishing:

angling in pembrokeshireThe rivers Cleddau, Nevern, Taf and Teifi offer game anglers the opportunity to catch wild brown trout, sea trout (known locally as 'sewin') and salmon.

Stillwater enthusiasts can enjoy a wealth of small locations in superb settings, as well as boat or bank fishing on the reservoirs of Llys-y-Fran and Rosebush.

Coarse Fishing

River Flow

Pembrokeshire is becoming increasingly popular for coarse fishing due to the peace and quiet that can be found at the many lakes, rivers and reservoirs.  Quality and diversity of fish stocks, and outstanding value for money, are two more good reasons to visit the network of small waterways in the area.

Sea Fishing

'Summertime'

The seas off our coast are famous for bass fishing; although many other species such as bream, mullet, wrasse, conger, rockling, mullet, pollack, mackerel, sharks and rays are equally targeted by the many sea anglers who regularly visit us. Whether you prefer fishing off the rocks or out in a boat, you will be fishing in some of the most spectacular locations in Europe.

We have special arrangements with most operators in the area and will be pleased to make the necessary arrangements, however we have listed a couple of operators below for your information:
